Pride of Patna: Bihar professor elected as vice-president of Indian Commerce Association

Prof.Dr.N.K.Jha elected as VP of ICA.

MADURAI: Prof.Dr.N.K.Jha from Patna University in Bihar has been elected as vice-president of Indian Commerce Association (ICA) at the 76th All India Commerce Conference held in Bengaluru from 19th to 21st December 2025.

He is a senior faculty member of Department of Applied Economics and Commerce in Patna University, and he represents the North-Eastern Zone of ICA which is the largest zone in the country, according to a press release received yesterday.

“This is the first time that a representative from North-Eastern zone has secured a position in the central panel of ICA. He will hold this position for three-year term. Prof.Dr.N.K.Jha has served Patna University in several key academic and administrative positions, he made significant contributins towards academic excellence and quality education,” the press release added.

Congratulating the Patna University professor for getting elected as ICA vice-president, the founder of British Lingua Mr.Birbal Jha has said that Dr.N.K.Jha’s achievement is a matter of immense pride not only for Patna University but for entire Bihar.
