MADURAI: The 2026 new year calendar of Madurai Public Relation Officers’ Federation (MPF) was released at a special function held in Madurai on December 20th 2025.
Mr.K.Anbalagan, District Revenue Officer-Madurai and Assistant Police Commisioner Mr.Sivasakthi have released the calendar in the presence of PROs from various organisations in Madurai while the first calendar was received by Mr.PSG Musthappa, managing director of Meraj Travels, according to a press release here yesterday.
Three women who had shown exemplary honesty and integrity were honoured by the police officer for their act of being good samaritans. The women- Selvamalini, Krishnaveni and Meenakshi- had returned valuable belongings found in public places to the local police, including several lakhs of rupees in cash and gold ornaments, and the Madurai PROs Federation had recognized their honesty.
Mr.J.Murali, president-MPF, had presided over the calendar release function and spoke about the various public activities undertaken since inception. Mr.S.G.Ramanathan, secretary, MPH, welcomed te gathering and Mr.Gokula Nambi, joint secretary, had proposed a vote of thanks.
