MADURAI: Advocate Mr.V.Kalaiselvan of the Madurai Bench of Madras High Court has exposed today some of the irregularities that allegedly took place in the latest Ph.D entrance examination conducted by the Madurai Kamaraj University (MKU) here.
He had cited some irregularities which he alleged that took place in the publication of Ph.D. entrance examination September 2024 re-evaluated results of arts subjects of MKU departments and in his confidential report he had given startling information about a few candidates with their names, departments and results.
The Ph.D entrance results complaint report which is submitted to the High Court and legal team has mentioned in a special note about the publication of results on 29-09-2025 of the three departments- economics, tourism management and Tamil etc.
“There is a woman who was declared failed for getting 6 marks in list 3 but is now declared passed officially in list-2. Around 21 candidates had been declared passed in list-2 but in list-3 they have been declared failed. So, only proper investigation can bring out the truth and facts, to expose the Ph.D entrance irregularities and Ph.D entrance malpractices in MKU,” advocate V.Kalaiselvan of Madurai Bench of Madras High Court had demanded today- November 18th 2025- with details of candidates’ names, marks etc and he is a former Professor and Head of English Department of Madurai Kamaraj University here.
