MADURAI: The Rajasthani Association Tamil Nadu has invited nominations from the public from all over the State for the second edition of its ‘Rajasthani-Tamil Seva Awards 2026’ to honour exceptional individuals and institutions who have rendered outstanding contributions to the people of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
Nominations are open from November 12th to December 5th 2025 at www.rajasthanitamil.org and the awards will be presented under eight categories- agriculture and rural development, arts and culture, education and healthcare, entrepreneurship and industry, environment and sustainability, media and communication, public service and governance, and social welfare.
Each award carries a cash prize of Rs.2 lakh along with a trophy and citation and all complete entries will be carefully evaluated by an independent shortlisting committee based on impact, integrity and alignment with the objectives of the awards. The shortlisted nominations will then be placed before the jury for final selection.
PRESS MEET HELD IN CHENNAI:
A press meet was organized in Chennai on November 12th 2025 to brief the media about the awards, eligibility and selection process.
Mr.Narendra Srisrimal, president, Rajasthani Association Tamil Nadu, Mr.Ajit Chordia, Chairman, Rajasthani-Tamil Seva Awards 2026, Mr.Anil Khicha, awards Convenor and Mr.Dinesh Kothari, general secretary, told reporters that the selection will be transparent and based on merit only.
JURY MEMBERS:
The jury for Rajasthani-Tamil Seva Awards 2026 comprises eminent persoanlities from diverse fields and they are Mr.S.Gurumurthy, Mr.N.Ravi, Dr.Padma Subrahmanyam, Prof.E.Balagurusamy, Mr.N.Sugalchand Jain and Mr.Narendra Srisrimal.
Awards ceremony will be held in Chennai on February 1st 2026 and awardees names will be announced on the official website of Rajasthani Association Tamil Nadu, according to a press release from the organizing committee.
