
MADURAI: A three-member enquiry committee has been constituted by the Madurai Kamaraj University (MKU) here to investigate the complaints received against the Principal incharge of MKU College in Madurai Dr.B.George.
The members in this enquiry committee are Convenor’s Committee member Dr.B.Mayil Vaganan and Syndicate members Dr.S.Kannan and Dr.T.Dharmaraj. An official communication about forming the enquiry committee was issued by MKU Registrar in-charge Prof.Dr.M.Ramakrishnan in a letter dated October 27th 2025.
“Complaints were recieved against the Principal i/c Dr.B.George of MKU College in Madurai. A complaint letter which was received by the Higher Education Minister’s office in Chennai was forwarded to the university. An enquiry committee was constituted to investigate the complaints that were received from teaching staff and students of MKU College in Madurai,” the varsity Registrar incharge has said in his letter.
According to sources, there a wide range of complaints pertaining to provident fund PF account, college fees hike and students’ safety issues in college campus.
