
MADURAI: A blood donation camp was organized at Nagarathinam Angalammal Arts and Science College here on October 13th 2025 jointly with the Women’s Studies Centre of Madurai Kamaraj Univerity and Meenakshi Mission Hospital and Research Centre.
Totally 107 students had enthusiastically participated in the voluntary blood donation drive and they showed their commitment to community cause, a press release received from NAAS College yesterday has said.
Dr.R.Radhika Devi, Director in-charge, Women’s Studies Centre-MKU, Dr.Gowtham Venkatesh from the Meenakshi Mission Hospital Blood Bank and Dr.V.Vasanthakumar, college Principal were among those who took part in the inauguration of blood donation camp and thanked the Correspondent and Secretary of NAAS College Dr.N.Jegatheesan for motivating the staff and students for a noble cause.
Mr.Prabhakaran, programme officer of Youth Red Cross, who proposed a vote of thanks has said that the blood donation camp was a platform is to sensitize students about voluntary blood donation to save the lives in emergencies.
