MADURAI: Former ADGP Dr.N.K.Senthamarai Kannan IPS has given motivational tips for success to students who are preparing for various competitive examinations by sharing insights from his personal journey on what are the skills needed to reach the goal.
He gave a motivational talk on effective strategies in preparing for competitive exams at a special workshop with focused sessions organized in American College in Madurai on August 12th 2025 by the Post Graduate and Research Department of Economics in association with Department of History to groom students for success in Civil Services exam and preparation methods for UGC NET and SET examinations.
“Dr.N.K.Senthamarai Kannan who had a distinguished IPS career spanning 37 years of service in academic and administrative domains had demonstrated how one can successfully juggle multiple roles and reach the target. He motivated the students by saying that economics is not just a subject and it is a way of understanding the world,” a press release here today has said. He provided practical guidance for Civil Services aspirants and for UGC NET exams.
Dr.G.Kannabiran, Head of PG Department of Economics, Dr.J.Jebraraj, Head, Department of History, Dr.S.Jeyarani, Head of UG Department of Economics and Dr.M.Dhinakaran, Head, Department of Economics, Pope’s College-Tuticorin, were among those who provided guidance to students with some practical suggestions.
