MADURAI: The Madurai District Tiny and Small Scale Industries Association (MADITSSIA) had organized a seminar on government subsidy schemes, Zed certification and energy audit jointly with the District Industries Centre (DIC) in Madurai on June 13th 2025.
Mr.S.Ganesan, general manager, DIC, had chaired the seminar while MADITSSIA president Mr.A.Kodeeswaran had presided over the seminar which was attended by over 275 participants, according to a press release here yesterday.
Seminar coordinator Mr.A.Shyam Narayanan had explained the services provided to entrepreneurs through MADITSSIA Business Information Centre and Mr.T.Karthikeyan, Zed consultant, spoke about the procedures and benefits of Zed certification.
Mr.B.Suryakumar had given details about the benefits of energy audit and Mr.L.Arvind, joint secretary, MADITSSIA, had proposed a vote of thanks. The special government subsidies provided by Tamil Nadu government and the central government for MSMEs with Zed certification were explained to the participants along with energy audit details.
