MADURAI: The youth wing of BJP has demanded the Tamil Nadu State government to open more homeopathy colleges in view of the increasing demand from students for admission every year.
This demand was made by the Madurai city BJYM (Yuva Morcha) at its district EC meeting held in Madurai on December 6th 2017. A resolution was passed to this effect at the EC meeting.
Mr.S.Perumal, Madurai Urban youth wing district president, has said on Thursday Dec 7th that the only Government Homeopathy College at Thirumangalam near Madurai with 50 seats is not enough since more than 20,000 students are applying every year for homeopathy course.
CAPITATION FEES IN PVT COLLEGES:
He pointed out that students cannot pay lakhs of rupees as capitation- admission fees for admission in private colleges and hence the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) of Madurai city district unit is taking up this demand for starting Government homeopathy colleges in all districts for the benefit of students all over Tamil Nadu.
FOR KOODAL PUDUR RAILWAY STATION:
The youth wing EC meeting of the BJP in Madurai urban district had also urged for steps to improve facilities for Koodal Pudur Railway Station in Madurai and put it to public usage so that more trains could stop for passengers’ convenience.
Prof.Dr.R.Srinivasan, Tamil Nadu BJP State Secretary, Mr.Saseeraman, BJP Madurai city unit president, Mr.M.S.Kannan, State Youth Wing EC member, and Mr.C.M.Mari Chakkaravarthy, State Youth Wing general secretary, were among those who spoke at the EC meeting which was held at Kammavar Naidu Mahal in the city on December 6th 2017.
