MADURAI: The Southern Railway has today urged passengers to download and use RailOne mobile app for their hassle-free train ticket bookings and other value added services because the existing UTSonMobile App (UTS App) will be decommissioned in a phased manner with effect from March 1st 2026.

RailOne App will be the single, unified and official mobile platform for train passenger services and hence passengers are advised to download and use it, the Southern Railway has said in a press release issued today-February 9th 2026.

“The existing R-Wallet balance of users on the UTS App will remain completely safe and secure. The balance will be available for use on the RailOne App which offers unreserved, season and platform tickets along with access to reserved tickets booking through a single and userfriendly interface. RailOne App has several salient features for passengers. They can book tickets, track PNR status, train runing status, delays, train updates etc, and also order food directly to their seats from IRCTC-approved vendors. So, the Southern Railway encourages passengers who are now using UTS App for train services to shift to RailOne App early to get uninterrupted access to ticketing and passenger services,” the Southern Railway press release has said and added that complaints, feedback and service requests can be lodged easily through integrated RailMadad support.
