MADURAI: The highest civilian awards of the country- Padma Awards- for the year 2026 were announced by the Government of India on January 25th 2026.
The President of India has approved conferement of 5 Padma Vidbhushan awards, 13 Padma Bhushan awards and 113 Padma Shri Awards to distinguished personalities in various fields, and a press release of the Padma Awardees 2026 list was released by the Ministry of Home Affairs of Govenrment of India today evening.
