MADURAI: Unreserved special train will be operated from Madurai to Palani on February 1st 2026 in connection with ‘Thai Poosam’ festival.
Train No.06145 Madurai Junction-Palani unreserved express special train will leave Madurai railway junction at 6 am on February 1st 2026 (Sunday) and reach Palani at 8.30 am. The teian will have stops at Sholavandan, Kodaikanal, Ambaturai, Dindigul and Oddanchatram.
In the return direction, Train No.06146 Palani-Madurai Junction unreserved special train will leave Palani at 2.25 pm and arrive at Madurai railway junction at 5 pm, according to a press release received from the Madurai Division of Southern Railway here today.
These trains will have 8 general second class coaches, seven sleeper class coaches and two luggage cum brake van coaches, the railway press release has informed today.
