MADURAI: Former Principal of M.S.S.Wakf Board College in Madurai Dr.M.Abdul Kadir has stressed the role of montessori teachers in sowing the seeds of good character and discipline among young children in the country.
“Montessori education deals with children below six years of age and hence the teachers of montessori classes play a crucial role. They must be compassionate educators because children will never forget the care you take at their tender age,” he said while addressing the graduating candidates of Sri Sai Montessori Teacher Training Institute here on January 18th 2026.
Dr.Abdul Kadir had stressed that graduation day is not emrely to receive a certificate but a solemn commitment to shoulder social responsibility.
The Graduation Day ceremony 2025 of this institute which is situated at Anna Nagar in Madurai took was held on January 17th 2026 and it has been training competent and socially responsible montessori teachers.
Prof.Dr.P.Suresh of Department of Chemistry at Madurai Kamaraj University and Mrs.Sundarambal, Principal, Vedic Vidyashram School, spoke about the role of montessori teachers in moulding children’s mental wellbeing and personality development.
Mr.Suresh Babu, Director, Ellora Group of Schools, had lauded the institute for its consistent efforts in producing high quality teachers, according to a press release received yesterday. Totally 23 candidates who completed their training had received their diplomas at the graduation day ceremony.
Mrs.Karthiyayini, Principal and Managing Director, presented the annual report by highlighting the achievments and growth of the institute. Dr.N.Prabhakaran, institute Director, welcomed the gathering while eduacational coordinator Mrs.Mubeen had proposed a vote of thanks.
