MADURAI: The Lions Club of Tirunagar Town in Madurai had provided funding support for providing two new toilets at Jothi Middle School in Harveypatti locality in Madurai.
On December 23rd 2025, two new toilets which were provided at a cost of Rs.1.55 lakhs were brought to use by the students and staff thanks to the Lions club support.
“Jothi Middle School at Harveypatti in Madurai is a government-aided school. Our Lions Club of Tirunagar Town has given funding support for constructing two new toilets in that school. Lions District Governor Mr. D.Selvam had inaugurated new toilets created for that school students on December 23rd 2025,” Mr.V.S.Manimaran, president, Lions Club of Tirunagar Town in Madurai, has informed in a press release here yesterday.
Lions Club Admin Mr.Jeyakodi had presided over the inauguration of new toilets in Jothi Middle School which was attended by school staff and Lions Club members.
