MADURAI: Three women who had 4 cms brain tumours which had affected their vision level and eyesight had undergone successful scar-free endoscopic surgery recently and regained their eyesight at Meenakshi Super Speciality Hospital in Madurai.

The expert neuro doctors team had today explained the skull base surgery details of how the operations were done for brain tumours removal in last three months by using Extended Endoscopic Endonasal Approach after locating the tumours beneath the anterior skul base for these women patients without the need for open-skull surgery.

Dr.K.Selvamuthukumaran, senior consultant and Head of Department of Neurosurgery, Dr.K.Senthilkumar, senior consultant neurosurgeon and Dr.Gowtham Kuncha, consultant endovascular neurosurgeon had given details of this successful operation proecudres at a press meet in Madurai today- November 7th 2025.

There are excellent outcomes and restoration of vision for these three women patients.
