MADURAI: Four additional chair car coaches are being added from May 8th 2025 for Vande Bharat Express trains in Chennai Egmore-Nagercoil-Chennai Egmore to clear the extra rush during this busy demand period.
According to a press release from Southern Railway here today, train number 20627 / 20628 Vande Bharat trains will be augmented with four chair car coaches from May 8th 2025 and hence these VB trains will run with 20 chair car Vande Bharat rakes in both directions.
