MADURAI: The Rotary Club of Madurai Jallikattu had presented Vocational Excellence Award to Indian para-athletics coach and Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna Award recipient Mr.J.Ranjith Kumar at a function held in Madurai yesterday- April 27th 2025.
This ward was conferred on him in recognition of his exemplary contribution in the field of community service and for his commitment and dedication to high moral and ethical values which he maintained as a para athletics competitor for the past several years.
Auditor Mr.Sethu Madhava had presented the award shield and citation to Mr.J.Ranjith Kumar in the presence of office-bearers and members of Rotary Club of Madurai Jallikattu including club president Mr.Nellai Balu, secretary S.Kathiravan, treasurer Mr.Shanmugham, advocate Karthik and Mr.Navaneethakrishnan, according to a press release here today.
In his acceptance speech, Mr.Ranjith Kumar has said that anything can be achieved in life with self-confidence and perseverance. “There is nothing impossible for differently abled persons also. What we need is patience and commitment in our task,” he added.
