MADURAI: Former Vice President of India Mr.M.Venkaiah Naidu is visiting Madurai tomorrow- April 7th 2024 Sunday, to participate as chief guest in the platinum jubilee celebrations of Thiagarajar College at Teppakulam here.
He will also inaugurate the ‘Sustainability Exhibition’ being organized by Thiagarajar Centre for Sustainability in the college campus. Mr.Venkaiah Naidu will present sustainability awards and best alumnus of the college.
LEGACY OF 75 YEARS:
The platinum jubilee celebrations on April 7th 2024 is in commemoration of the institutional legacy of 75 years of Thiagarajar College in Madurai. Along with the former Vice-President, the college has also invited the Chairman and Managing Director of Rayala Corporation Mr.Ranjit Prathap who will deliver special address.
Dr.Uma Kannan, president, Thiagarajar College, will preside over the platinum jubilee celebrations of this institution which was established in the year 1949.
