MADURAI: An interaction session with French artists was organised at American College in Madurai on February 8th 2024.
Mr.Sylvain, documentary director and Ms.Zoe, dance choreographer from Paris, had highlighted the use of technology in cinema, art and dance. They also spoke about the originality of heritage arts in Tamil Nadu, a press release received from the college here yesterday, has said.
The French artists interacted with the students regarding documentary direction and a documentary film ‘Suivre Zoe’ directed by M.Sylvain was shown to the students in this special session in which more than 50 French learning students and staff of French Department had participated.
Dr.M.Davamani Christober, Principal and Secretary of American College, had presided over the inaugural ceremony while association president Mr.G.Victor Packiyaraj welcomed the gathering.
Ms.D.Santhana Gowri, association secretary, A.Chinnadurai Pandian, Head, Department of French and French faculty members- Mr.Thangamani, Mr.Bharathidasan and Ms.Kavitha, were among those present in this interaction session. Mrs.A.Angel Sahaya Ajitha had proposed a vote of thanks.
