MADURAI: A meeting of Madurai Divisional Railway Users Consultative Committee (DRUCC) was held today- 24th December 2021 through video conferencing. Divisional Railway Manager of Madurai Division Mr.Padmanabhan Ananth presided over the meeting and elaborated about completed projects and ongoing developmental works in Madurai railway division.
A press release received from Southern Railway Madurai Division had informed that 29 members attended the meeting and discussed on developmental works at railway stations in their area, new trains, new train halts etc. Also, Mr.P.Thangaraj was elected as Madurai Division representative to the Zonal Rail Users Consultative Committee. Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Mr.V.Prasanna welcomed the members and explained the steps taken to improve facilities at railway stations.
Senior divisional railway operations manager R.P.Rathipriya proposed a vote of thanks after speaking about new trains and new stoppages. Additional Divisional Railway Manager Mr.T.Ramesh Babu and senior officials were among those present.
