MADURAI: There will be a nationwide Pulse Polio Immunization drive all over India on 17th January 2021 (Sunday). Polio drops pulse pulse polio vaccination will be administered for children up to five years of age. The Madurai Corporation has issued an important press release from Madurai today urging the parents and public to ensure that all children below the age of five years are given polio drops on 17th January 2021, on this polio eradication drive Sunday.
The polio immunization camps will be there at the same places like last year……., the World Health Organisation (WHO) has been playing active role in immunizing children against polio virus, there are safety guidelines in place…..and hence the parents have been asked to take their children (till five years of age) to the polio immunization booths in their locality, the Madurai Corporation has appealed in a press statement here on 8th January 2021.
