MADURAI: The popular Madurai – Chennai Tejas train will be back on track from 10th January 2021.
The services of Madurai – Chennai Tejas special train have been withdrawn from 04th January due to poor patronage. Passengers and public have requested the Railway administration to resume the service of Tejas special train. Accordingly, Chennai – Madurai – Chennai Tejas special train will run from 10th January and these trains will run on all days except Thursdays, according to a press release from Southern Railway Madurai Division PRO here today.
Train No. 02613 Chennai Egmore – Madurai Tejas special train will leave Chennai at 06.00 hrs and reach Madurai at 12.15 hrs.. In the return direction, Train No. 02614 Madurai-Chennai Tejas special train will leave Madurai at 15.00 hrs and reach Chennai Egmore at 21.15 hrs. These trains will halt at Triuchirappalli and Kodaikanal Road.
