MADURAI: A borwell dug in the K.Pudur Bus Depot in Madurai city (Ward 45 in Zone 2) was inaugurated here today- on 16th October 2020- by Madurai North MLA Mr.V.V.Rajan Chellappa who had provided Rs.3.75 lakhs from the MLA Constituency Development Fund. Madurai Corporation Commissioner Mr.S.Visakan and senior officials were present at the inauguration here today morning.
This borewell will help in providing water supply to the TNSTC Pudur Depot (Ward 45) drivers, conductors and the general public who visits the bus depot daily, a press release from the Madurai Corporation had informed. MLA Mr.Rajan Chellappa had given Rs.3.75 lakhs from his MLA Constituency Development Fund.
Among those who were present today at the borewell beginning include Corporation EE Mr.Rajendran, PRO Mr.Chithravel, AEE Mr.Manoharan, officials Mr.Rajakannan and others.
