MADURAI: A teenage girl from Madurai -student Nethra – who was appreciated by Prime Minister Mr.Narendra Modi in his ‘Mann Ki Baat’ radio talk to the nation, for her support to Corona lockdown affected people here has done it again today- 21st July 2020.
This young girl from Madurai was made as Goodwill Ambassador to the Poor for United Nations Association for Development and Peace (UNADAP) a few weeks ago. Nethra’s father C.Mohan runs a saloon at Anna Nagar in Madurai. She had distributed essential items- rice and vegetables etc- to 150 poor people who are wanting support to feed their families during this COVID-19 lockdown time.
