MADURAI: Corporation Commissioner Mr.S.Visakan has instructed the authorities to step up fever surveillance in Madurai city as a part of Corona control measures.
On 13th June 2020, the Madurai Corporation has asked the city residents to contact mobile number 84284-25000 for getting medical advice and to inform if people from other countries, other States and other places come to their area in Madurai.
A press release from Madurai Corporation here today had informed that vitamin tablets, Zinc tablets and ‘Kabasura Kudineer’ are being distirbuted in all the wards in Madurai city through door-to-door fever surveillance teams comprising of nurses from Urban PHCs, dengue control workers, anganwadi workers, Idhayam Trust and Kabaddi players.
Among those present during the Corpporation Commissioner;s inspection here today include City Engineer Mr.Arasu, ACHO Dr.Vinodh Raja, PRO Mr.Chithravel and others.
