MADURAI: In tune with the spirit of its name, voluntary organization ‘Vaa Nanbaa’ has lent a supporting hand as a friend to 60 families which consist of visually impaired persons at Sakkimangalam in Madurai on 11th April 2020.

‘Vaa Nanbaa’ volunteers came forward and distributed rice, groceries and vegetables to visually challenged persons’ families today as the current Corona crisis had made things difficult for them.

“These families are involved in small works such as making ‘agarbathi’ etc. They are under the aegis of ‘Vaanavil’ and we responded to their request for help by giving food essentials. They can sustain for one week with what we provided today as a small token of our concern,” Mr.M.C.Saravanan, secretary, ‘Vaa Nanbaa’ told ‘Lotus Times’ news website.

‘Vaa Nanbaa’ is a voluntary service organisation that has been carrying out various activities at different places in and around Madurai with a strength of around 300 committed volunteers. Every Sunday morning, they will be out on a social work with a mission and passion.
