MADURAI: The Southern Railway has issued an important public information today that Vaigai Express and Pallavan Express will run as usual from and upto Chennai on 29th September 2021. Earlier, it was announced that both these special trains will go only till Villupuram because of rail track works. Today, a press release was issued from the Madurai Division of Southern Railway that there is no partial cancellation of Pallavan Express and Vaigai Express special trains and that they will operate normally from Chennai.
“There is a change in the railway track works now. So, it was decided that the Vaigai and Pallavan trains will run as usual. The Karaikudi-Chennai Egmore train, and train number 2635 Chennai to Madurai will operate normally on September 22nd and September 29th because there is a change in the track works scheduled date at Villupuram,” the press release received here on 22nd September 2021 has added.
