MADURAI: India’s popular young political leader and Congress Party’s powerful voice Mr.RAHUL GANDHI is visiting Madurai on 14th January 2021 to see the famous ‘AVANIAPURAM JALLIKATTU’ in Madurai. The Congress Party top leader’s visit was confirmed by the Congress party office-bearers in Madurai today. “He will be in Madurai for two hours on that day……14th January 2021…..for watching our traditional Tamil Nadu Jallikattu at Avaniapuram. From the airport, he will proceed straight to the ‘Jallikattu’ spot in Avaniapuram,” Mr.C.M.Syed Babu, Tamil Nadu Congress Committee Member and a senior Congress party leader from Madurai, told ‘Lotus Times’ news website (www.lotustimes.org) here today. A top level team of Congress party functionaries here, led by Congress party’s Madurai district president Mr.V.Karthikeyan, are busy making preparations for Rahul Gandhi’s Madurai visit on 14th January 2021 to witness the Avaniapuram Jallikattu (bull-taming) in the ancient Madurai city here in Tamil Nadu.
