129 TJ members from abroad shifted to Chennai Haj House


CHENNAI: Members of Tablighi Jamaat (TJ) who belong to foreign countries and were put in Puzhal prison complex in Chennai have been shifted to Haj Committee House in Chennai yesterday evening- on 13th July 2020. 
Manidhaneya Jananayaga Katchi (MJK) general secretary and Nagapattinam MLA Mr.M.Thamimun Ansari has said in a press release that 129 foreign nationals were provided stay at Chennai Haj House by the authorities due to continuous efforts of MJK. 

Senior level officials from Chennai had contacted MJK leader and MLA Mr.Ansari to inform him about the shifting of Tablighi Jamaat members from Puzhal to Haj Committee House where all arrangements were made for the stay of 129 foreign nationals.

A team of MJK office-bearers were present when the foreign national TJ members arrived at Haj House in a few special vehicles late in the evening yesterday. Members of Joint Action Committee had put in efforts to get permission for shifting them and periodical information was shared by Mr.Mansoor Ali Kasi bi and Basheer Hajiyar.   

MJK State deputy general secretary Mr.N.A.Thaimiyaa and a team of party functionaries met the shifted TJ members. Face masks were provided to them at Haj Committee House. District office-bearers of MJK including Pudumadam Anil, Bismillah, Anwar and Shahul Hameed were among those present at the time of their arrival from Puzhal to Haj Committee House, the press release from MJK said.
