MADURAI: The top brass of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) led by its national president Mr.Amit Shah have reiterated that the welfare and progress of people belonging to all religious minorities in India have been the top priority of the BJP and Mr.Narendra Modi’s government had already proved that through various specific schemes announced for minority communities since the year 2014.
A national convention of BJP’s Minority Morcha (MINORITY SAMMELAN 2019) began in New Delhi on January 31st 2019 which was addressed by national president Mr.Amit Shah, minority morcha national president Mr.Abdul Rasheed Ansari and others on issues related to minorities’ welfare.
GEARS UP FOR 2019 ELECTIONS:
“Minorities issues are important and in preparation for the 2019 LS polls, our party is getting ready to tell our people what the BJP had done for minorities and the Central government welfare schemes for Muslim / Christians etc,” a minority cell leader from Tamil Nadu who attended the meeting has said over phone from Delhi.
BJP national leaders representing the minorities – Mr.Abdul Rasheed and Mrs.Munawari Begum have explained that the BJP and NDA Government had done a lot for minorities and gave them more importance than the Congress party and earlier governments at the Centre.
Union Minister of State for Culture Mr.K.Alphons and national leader Mr.Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi were among those who spoke to the BJP minority morcha representatives at this national conference on Jan 31st 2019.
BJP National General Secretary Mr.Ram Lal and also Mr.Bhupender Yadav gave suggestions for further implementation through the minorities cell.
