MADURAI: BJP senior leader in Tamil Nadu and party national secretary Mr.H.Raja has lashed out at actor Kamal Haasan for his latest political statements, his claims on fight against corruption and the actor’s controversial television show namely the ‘BIgg Boss.’
“Kamal Haasan is a Hindu critic….see his film Anbe Sivam and it clearly shows that he is anti-Hindu….So, he is not acceptable because of his comments on Hindus, and it is my stand. When he is a known atheist, he is not acceptable to me,” he reiterated while talking on Tamil television TV news channel.
Mr.Raja spoke on a wide range of issues in Tamil Nadu, the farmers’ protests, suspense over the political entry of Kamal and Rajinikant into Tamil Nadu politics, hydrocarbon project and the NEET issue and students’ concerns on Puthiya Thalaimurai TV channel’s ‘Agni Paritchai’ programme on August 12th 2017 (Saturday).
“Rajnikanth has not yet announced his decision. But, already Kamal Haasan is hobnobbing with the DMK party whose leaders are facing court cases in 2G Spectrum auction, Maxis-Aircel deal etc….But, why Kamal is not speaking about the DMK? ” he questioned.
TALK ABOUT BOTH PARTIES:
The senior BJP leader told actor Kamal Haasan to talk about both the DMK and AIADMK if he is really a crusader against corruption.
“Sarkaria Commisison has in way back 1976 said that DMK government indulged in corruption in a scientific way….then, we is he not talking about that and raise only about AIADMK government corruption. Kamal should talk about both the parties. I have a doubt whether Kamal Haasan is a mouthpiece of DMK,” Mr.Raja observed during the interview.
BJP WILL GAIN IF KAMAL COMES:
He commented that the BJP will gain politically if Kamal fully joins politics because Hindu votes will play their role. (The Vibhuthi scene in Anbe Sivam movie shows Kamal’s attitude towards the Hindus.)
“Kamal’s party and his politics will benefit our party….He can’t divide Hindu votes. Anyone who criticises Hindus or make sarcastic comments on Hindus and Hinduism is not acceptable. I challenge Kamal to make comments in his movies against Christians or Islam….he can’t do that. He can’t dare to show Christians or Muslims in bad taste,” Mr.Raja observed.
