MADURAI: ‘Sab Ka Saath, Sab Ka Vikas’. These famous words of Prime Minister Narendra Modi are now ushering in hope and confidence among the youth of neglected Mutharayar community who got a chance to hone up their skills and stand up on their own before they start up for success, thanks to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
The Traders’ Cell of Madurai district BJP made a commendable effort to guide and train the unemployed youth and women of Mutharayar community by conducting a special training session at Aanaiyur in Madurai on July 9th (Sunday) in association with the Yogam Trust.
Nearly 200 persons attended the training camp which was addressed by bankers, industry and HR experts explained about the various empowerment schemes of Modi government, opportunities available and how to submit viable business proposals to obtain loan support from banks.
WE ARE A LADDER FOR YOU:
Speaking on the occasion, BJP Tamil Nadu State Secretary Prof.Dr.R.Srinivasan had assured the Mutharayar community that the party will be like a ladder for their growth and empowerment.
“Modi gave you Mudra Bank and that is BJP government’s commitment to help all communities. But other political parties used you as vote banks till now. BJP is dedicated for the cause of more than two crore Mutharayar community people in the State,” he said.
Dr.Srinivasan motivated the Mutharayar youth to think of starting viable business, loan repayment capacity and approach Mudra Bank for loan to have their own small enterprise.
“I am personally concerned about your community because you are yet to get empowered due to lack of adequate opportunities. Your economic empowerment is our party’s goal. Mutharayar community too should have more schools and colleges like in other castes. In one year, I want 100 youth from Mutharayar community should have benefited from today’s EDP training programme (Vaaname Ellai) and I will personally follow it up,” Dr.Srinivasan has said.
CLEAR GOAL AND RIGHT CHOICE:
M.Irulappan, Madurai District Lead Bank Manager, spoke on how to start new business, the way of preparing and submitting a business plan, Prime Minister’s Employment Guarantee Scheme and the guidance being given at District Industries Centre in Madurai.
Popular Industry expert and counselling specialist Mr.KR.Gnanasambandan told the youngsters of Mutharayar community to set clear goals and make right choice of business.

C.M.Karthick Prabu, BJP Traders’ Cell State Secretary, Mrs.Damayanthi Manivannan, founder-managing trustee of Yogam Trust, Pudur C.Saravanan, Madurai district president of BJP Traders’ Cell and Mr.Jothi Raja of Narrthunai Arakattalai were among those who coordinated the training camp for Mutharayar community.
The party’s trader’s cell office-bearers in Madurai district including C.Manoj Prakash, vice-president along with district secretaries P.Udhayakumar and P.Kumaresan were among those present.
Certificates were given to those who attended the EDP training camp conducted by BJP Traders’ Cell in Madurai on July 9th 2017.
